TARANGIRE AND NGORONGORO
SAFARI OVERVIEW
Drive out of Arusha and into one of Tanzania’s most remarkable must visit parks, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. This unique 2 days itinerary designed to give visitors intimate wildlife experience in the African Savannah. Come face to face with vast crowds of elephants roaming through Tarangire National Park. The Big 5 scattered across the crater floor at Ngorongoro makes your Safari a memorable golden experience.
DAY 1
TARANGIRE | ELEPHANTS, PROLIFIC BIRDLIFE AND BUFFALO
Your day starts with the rising sun, in hopes of catching the bush while it is at its most active. It will be only a moment before the adventure begins before your eyes.
Tarangire is well famous for hosting the largest concentration of elephants, roaming alongside the big cats.
Spend the afternoon as the sunrise higher into the sky under the shade of Baobab tree for lunch box while listening to beads songs adding the intimacy and adventure of your safari.
Later dive into the heart of Tarangire for further exploration. This time may be in search of lesser-known animals.
Migratory wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo can also be spotted crowding the shrinking lagoons alongside up to 300 Elephants heard, wandering past ancient acacia trees. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.
As the sky transforms later evening, you will drive to the lodge.
DAY 2
NGORONGORO CRATER
The Ngorongoro crater is considered one of the most unique and stunning places on Earth, with the highest concentration of wild animals on its crater floor.
On this day your skillful guide will drive you from your hotel after enjoying a cup of coffee on your balcony, to the heart of Ngorongoro. Perhaps today you will come face to face with the Big Five (Leopards, Rhinoceros, Lions, buffalo, and elephant).
The crater reveals the diversity of its ecosystem. Elephants wander in huge crowds, black rhinos plod through the savannah of Ngorongoro, and the big cats stalk prey on the edge of the crater. It’s a thrilling experience parked with an imaginable bundle of joy. Later in evening drive back to Arusha .
