Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our friendly guide and transferred to Arusha, a vibrant city and the gateway to your safari adventure. Enjoy a relaxing evening at your accommodation as you prepare for the thrilling days ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start your journey with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Spend the day exploring this diverse park, home to predators, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wild and capture stunning photos of the wildlife in action.

Day 3

Tarangire – Ndutu Plains (Southern Serengeti)

After breakfast, leave kararu behind and embark on a scenic drive toward the Ndutu Plains in the southern Serengeti, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This region is famous for its role in the Great Migration, particularly during the calving season from December to March. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and enjoy some time to unwind before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Witness the incredible spectacle of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes giving birth to their young. Keep an eye out for predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas taking advantage of this time of plenty. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu Plains

Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu Plains, a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise during the calving season. As you drive across the open plains, you’ll witness massive herds of wildebeest with their newborn calves, along with zebras, gazelles, and other herbivores. The abundance of prey draws predators, and you may see dramatic hunting scenes involving lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. Your guide will take you to the best spots for game viewing and photography. Return to your tented camp in the evening, where you can relax and share stories of the day over dinner.

Day 5

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, depart the Ndutu area and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most remarkable wildlife havens in the world. The crater is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard), as well as countless other species including hippos, flamingos, and jackals. Enjoy an unforgettable game drive in this unique ecosystem, with a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening. Check into the Hotel, where you can unwind after an exciting day. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Departure

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, your safari adventure comes to an end. Depending on your schedule, you may have time to explore Arusha or shop for souvenirs. Your guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, or you can choose to extend your stay in Tanzania with additional activities.
