Tanzania has two main seasons:

1. Dry Season – June to October

2. Wet Season – March to May (long rains) & November (short rains)

Tanzania’s location near the equator means temperatures are fairly consistent year-round, but rainfall patterns define travel conditions.

June – October (Dry Season)

• Why it’s best: Vegetation is thin, and water sources are limited, making wildlife more concentrated and visible.
