FOR TERMITE TOUR TRAVEL

1. Booking and Payment

 

1.1 Reservation: All bookings must be made in writing or via our online booking platform. A 30% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.

1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the safari. If the booking is made within 30 days of departure, the full amount is required at the time of booking. We accept cash payments in USD, Euros, upon arrival.

1.3 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods agreed upon at the time of booking.

 

2. Cancellations and Refunds

 

2.1 Cancellation by Client:

If a client cancels, they will be offered a credit note to rebook their tour within a year of the original booking date.

The following cancellation and refund policy applies if the client does not need to reschedule the tour

  • 10% cancelation fee if canceled more than 90 days before the tour starts;
  • 30% cancelation fee if canceled 60-89 days before the tour starts;
  • 60% cancelation fee if canceled 30-59 days before the tour starts;
  • 80% cancelation fee if canceled 8-29 days before the tour starts;
  • No refund if canceled 0-7 days before the tour starts.

2.2 Cancellation by Company: Termite Tour Travel & Safaris reserves the right to cancel any safari due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

 

3. Changes to Booking

 

3.1 By Client: Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing. Changes may incur additional costs depending on availability and the nature of the change.

3.2 By Company: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary or accommodation if necessary. In the event of major changes, clients will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to accept the change, book an alternative safari, or receive a full refund.

 

4. Travel Insurance

 

4.1 All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

 

5. Health and Safety

 

5.1 Health Requirements: Clients must ensure they are in good health and fit to participate in the safari. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

5.2 Safety Protocols: Termite Tour Travel follows strict safety protocols. Clients must adhere to the guidance and instructions of the tour guides at all times.

 

6. Visas and Documentation

 

6.1 Clients are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and travel documents for Tanzania. Termite Tour Travel can provide assistance and advice but accepts no responsibility for visa issues.

 

7. Liability

 

7.1 Termite Tour Travel is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the safari. Clients participate at their own risk.

7.2 We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Clients should ensure they have adequate insurance coverage.

 

8. Force Majeure

 

8.1 Termite Tour Travel is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, or government actions.

 

9. Complaints

 

9.1 Any complaints must be raised with the tour guide or company representative as soon as possible to allow for immediate resolution.

9.2 If the issue is not resolved to the client’s satisfaction, a formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of the safari.

 

10. Governing Law

 

10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved in the Tanzanian courts.
